Unyte Group is a green-focused construction company. But their website was working against their mission. Pages were bloated, load times were slow, and the carbon footprint was high.
OYNK stepped in to fix that. We rebuilt the site with clean code, small files, and green hosting. The result? A website that matches Unyte's values.
Our approach
We started with a full carbon audit of the existing site. We scored every page against the Web Carbon Rating. The result: an F grade. Large images, blocking scripts, and heavy third-party code were dragging down speed and green scores alike.
Our rebuild had three goals. First, write lean code with less JavaScript. Second, shrink images using modern formats like WebP and AVIF. Third, move to a green hosting provider. Every design choice put both looks and low carbon first.
