Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. They help sites work well, give you a better experience, and show site owners how people use their pages. Some cookies come from the site itself. Others come from third-party tools the site uses.

2. How we use cookies

At OYNK Digital, we collect as little data as possible. We only use cookies that are truly needed for a good experience. We never use cookies for ads, tracking your behaviour, or following you across other sites.

Essential cookies

These cookies keep the site running. Without them, some features would break. They include:

  • Theme choice (localStorage) — Saves your colour theme (light, yellow, or dark) so the site remembers it next time. This data stays on your device.
  • Session cookies — Standard cookies that keep your browsing secure as you move between pages.

Analytics cookies

We use the EcoPigs platform to see how visitors use our site. These analytics put privacy first:

  • They do not track you across other websites
  • They do not use personal identifiers or fingerprinting
  • They do not collect IP addresses for tracking purposes
  • They focus on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns rather than individual behaviour

This data helps us spot issues, see what content works best, and keep improving speed and access.

3. Third-party cookies

We do not use ad cookies. We don't serve ads, join ad networks, or share your data with advertisers. The only outside service is our EcoPigs carbon badge. It shows our site's green rating and does not track you.

4. How long do cookies last?

Session cookies vanish when you close your browser. Your theme choice stays until you clear your browser data. Analytics cookies expire within 30 days.

5. Managing and deleting cookies

You control the cookies on your device. Change them in your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

Turning off cookies may stop some features, like saving your theme choice. The rest of the site will still work fine.

6. Updates to this policy

We may change this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the date at the top. Please check back now and then.

7. Get in touch
